UK supermarket chain opens store in Nerja

UK supermarket chain Poundland, operating in Spain under the name Dealz, opened a store in Nerja yesterday, taking the total number of shops in Malaga province to three.

A spokesperson for the store, which is on Calle San Miguel in the centre of the town, said it will create 15 jobs and sell a combination of Spanish and international brands for a maximum price of 1.50 euros.

Dealz is holding a draw until 13 June with the prizes being four vouchers worth 100 euros each to be spent in the store.
