Fresh appeal launched to help find missing father and son

Daniel and Liam Poole travelled to Malaga on 31 March but their family have not had any contact from them in over a month

Police in Sussex (UK) have launched a fresh appeal as they continue to investigate the disappearance of father and son, Daniel and Liam Poole, who travelled together to Malaga on 31 March.

Working in collaboration with police in Spain, Sussex Police Detective Chief Inspector, Emma Heater, said: Their family are very concerned about them as they last heard from them on 1 April.

"The lack of contact is out of character."

The pair, from Burgess Hill is West Sussex, are known to have hired a grey Peugeot 308 car on arrival, but the vehicle has not been returned to the car hire firm.

Heater continued: "One possibility that must be considered, as they have not contacted family or friends, is that they have come to harm."

A press release issued by the police read: "The Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team are now undertaking this enquiry and have resources already working with the Spanish authorities to find [them]."
