Year-round Easyjet flights are now operating between Gibraltar and London Luton

Easyjet has begun its twice-weekly service between Luton and Gibraltar. The flights run on Tuesdays and Saturdays and will continue year-round.

This is the airline's fourth destination from Gibraltar, after London Gatwick, Bristol and Manchester.

Ali Gayward, Easyjet's UK manager, said this week that the affordable fares and flight time of just over two and a half hours, make these services popular with business and leisure travellers.

After the arrival of the first Easyjet flight from Luton on Tuesday, Tourism Minister Gilbert Licudi, said the new service for travellers from the north London region and beyond is "warmly welcome".
