Gibraltar Port had a record year in 2016, not only in terms of the number of vessels bunkering there, but also the quantity of fuel delivered. More cruise liners called at Gibraltar last year, and there was also an increase in the number of superyachts taking advantage of the new berths at Mid Harbour Marina. Port Captain Bob Sanginuetti says the figures reinforce Gibraltar's status as a premier maritime hub.
