Three thousands tickets sold to help those affected by the recent flooding

Malaga's match against Numancia was special, not only because of three points picked up by Juan Ramón Muñiz's side, but also because it was also for another good cause.

The club had already announced that the takings for this match would go to those affected by the recent flooding in the province. SUR sources confirmed that 3,000 tickets had been sold at the gates despite the low temperatures on Monday.

The total amount raised will be distributed across the 31 municipalities directly affected by the torrential rain. The distribution of money, according to the sources consulted, will be carried out through the Diputación provincial authority.

The final amount, from the gate receipts and extra donations from the general public, has not been publicly announced.
